The energy of hostess, Mandira Bedi, was infectious and was a major catalyst for the success of the funds raised. Abishek Bachchan was gracious enough to stay longer than scheduledand co-host four offerings of the auction, effecting the high level of enagement in the bidding war.
Farhan Akhtar provided a lively and engaging introduction to the proceedings highlighting his own charitable work through ‘MARD’ (Men Agianst Rape & Discrimination) and the recognition of Magic Bus in the effect it is having on gender equality and respect through young people in India.
