The 3rd image reveals the steepness of the route as the leader abseils to retrieve the runners. The 2nd (me) failed to get even 15 metres up this 45m pitch! The leader ( Simon Nadin) moved with such smoothness and confidence I thought it must be manageable for someone of my limited abilities. Wrong! So very wrong!
